Requirements:

OnlyCat requires a USB-C Power Delivery (9V 2A) supply to operate. There is a small backup battery, however this will only cover short power interruptions (up to several minutes in duration) and change the lock state for safe shutdown.
OnlyCat will still work when your Wi-Fi goes down, but it does require Wi-Fi for initial setup, and for app features like push notifications and remote controls to work. The subscription payment version requires Wi-Fi to periodically check subscription validity.

Is your cat an escape artist? Around 1% of cats discover that they can press down on the indoor lock pin and pull the flap towards them, bypassing curfews. If you're concerned about this, consider adding a reinforced Premium Lock Cover for added security.
